BULLSPOT

Bot Setup Guide

Set up an AI trading bot on Hyperliquid in 10 minutes. No code.

BullSpot is an autonomous AI trading agent for Hyperliquid perpetual futures. This guide walks through the complete setup: creating your agent wallet, connecting it to BullSpot, configuring your daily loss cap and position size, and activating the agent. The whole path takes about 10 minutes and requires no coding or server management.

Step 1: Create a Hyperliquid agent wallet

Log into Hyperliquid and navigate to account settings. Select 'Create Agent Wallet' — the interface generates a new keypair in your browser. Save the private key somewhere secure (password manager, encrypted note). This key lets the bot sign orders on your behalf but cannot withdraw funds.

Detailed walkthrough: Hyperliquid API wallet setup guide.

Step 2: Connect your account to BullSpot

Sign up at bullspot.app and subscribe ($29/mo, 14-day money-back guarantee). In the dashboard, go to Settings → Hyperliquid Connection and paste your agent wallet private key. BullSpot encrypts it and validates the connection by querying your account balance. You should see 'Connected' status within a few seconds.

Step 3: Set your risk controls

Before activating the agent, configure three boundaries: (1) Maximum position size as a percentage of your account balance, (2) Maximum leverage (e.g. 3x, 5x), and (3) Daily loss limit in dollars — if this threshold is hit, the agent stops trading for the rest of the UTC day. These are hard limits; the agent cannot override them.

Start conservative. You can tighten or loosen limits anytime, but the agent will respect whatever is saved.

Step 4: Activate the agent

In the agent control panel, toggle 'Agent Active' to on. The agent begins its scan-and-plan cycle: it reads market data, writes a daily plan, evaluates setups, and places trades when conditions confirm. You can watch the decision log in real time — every enter, skip, or exit writes out its reasoning.

The agent runs 24/7 until you toggle it off or hit your daily loss limit. You stay in control: revoke the agent wallet on Hyperliquid to instantly cut off order access, or pause the agent in BullSpot settings.

What BullSpot is not

This is not a grid bot or DCA bot — those execute fixed strategies regardless of market context. BullSpot's agent reasons over structure, sentiment, and its own historical performance before deciding to trade. It is also not a copy-trading service: the decisions are the agent's own, graded by realized P&L and fed back into future planning.

And it is not a guarantee of profit. Leveraged crypto trading is hard and most traders lose money. The agent operates under the risk limits you set, but those limits do not eliminate risk — they bound it.

FAQ

Do I need to run any code or servers?

No. BullSpot is fully managed: the agent, data pipeline, risk engine, and execution infrastructure are operated for you. You configure settings through the web dashboard.

Can I test it without risking real money?

BullSpot does not offer a paper-trading mode at this time. Start with a small account balance and conservative risk settings if you want to evaluate behavior with minimal capital at risk.

How is this different from setting up a grid bot?

Grid bots (on Bybit, Binance, etc.) execute a fixed buy-low-sell-high grid regardless of trend or news. BullSpot's agent evaluates market context first and can decline to trade when setups do not confirm. The trade-off: grid bots are predictable; agents adapt but introduce reasoning uncertainty.

What exchanges does BullSpot support?

BullSpot executes exclusively on Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange. It does not place orders on centralized exchanges. If you need a bot on Binance, Coinbase, or another CEX, you would build one yourself with a DIY framework like OpenClaw or Hermes Agent — see our comparison pages for those platforms.

Can I use this with a prop firm account?

No. BullSpot connects to your own Hyperliquid account via an agent wallet you control. Prop-firm evaluation accounts typically restrict API access or third-party bots, and violating those terms can disqualify you. Use BullSpot only on accounts you own outright.

What are the risks?

Substantial. Perpetual futures are leveraged instruments and you can lose your entire balance. Autonomous execution means trades can be placed without your prior review. Read the risk disclosure before connecting a funded account.
